I spent ten years working for London costume house Cosprop Ltd and in the wardrobes of the National Theatre and Sadlers Wells, which have been formative influences on my PhD research; drawing garments in motion on film. Drawing costume on the figure offers opportunities to explore material, colour, character and the movement of garments along with that of the body
